I wish the steak was a bit more rare, but the seasoning, sauces and the fact the meat was tender overcame my usual desire to see more pink. I am always skeptical about getting rice and beans, but they blended well and I enjoyed adding some of the green spice to add some kick (never really know where I am supposed to use sauces on the side, but I manage to find delicious ways to consume them). The place is a bit dated, but there was signage they were moving to a new location. I didn't see a specific date listed. ”
“ Well... you could not finish my 1/2 chicken with a side salad and yuka. This means that the portions are pretty good size. The food was delicious and the service was fast. For 1/2 chicken and Malanesa de polls we paid $32 (no drinks). They offered water cups and we took them. The white sauce is mayo like, the green is spicy (you have been warned). I would recommend to friends. ”
“ This seems like a mom and pop type of place when you walk inside. The place was dated, and the staff was busy cooking and serving. They have a good menu displayed with many food items to choose from. I ordered the whole chicken with rice and beans and plantains and salad for a family of four. The chicken was perfectly cooked, you could taste the wood fire it was cooked over and rice and beans went perfect with the chicken. This place is worth spending money on if you crave south Latino food!!!! I am a fan and will be back again to try more of their food listed on the menu and get more of their chicken. ”
